Secondly I've spotted these two items on ebay, both local to me and together would make a nice project for someone (not me, I don't have the money/skill/time/tools):

Actualy I'd quite like the wheels and front seats off the second item if anyone's after just the engine I'd be interested in making a joint bid.

wish i had some cash. if it had been last month i would have got both and done the swap. then sold the fun for ££££ and put the other ones guts on sale on ebay.

Why would a Fun with such low miles be "DEAD" ? Mechanicaly that is, with MOT report as stated.

Im doubting its that bad. It could be using oil which is messing up the MAP sensor/Lambda probes but a rebuild is easy enough if it is actually that bad.
