A while ago (probably early summer), somebody posted photos of a red vrs with golf R32 alloys on it, 18's I think they were, stunning car.

I've spent ages searching for the photos/thread but can't find them, can anybody help me?!

I was outbid on a set of octavia vrs alloys on ebay the other day, one day I'll change my cars alloys, I know I will!

whats the handling like on 18's? 17's just about right given that its 16's standard?

Would the 17" replica R32 alloys fit directly onto the Vrs??

Have found the below on ebay and look like nice rims and not that bad a price.

Also is there any risk in buying a replica wheel rather than the real thing??

they are off the new mk5 golf and the ones on the red vrs are off the mk4 don't think you get them in a 17 inch version off the mk 4 replica's :confused:

I bought some RS4 reps from Wheelbase, had them a year now and still sound as a pound.

They are MK5 R32 reps but are fitted to a MK4 Golf so should be fine. Reps just tend to be heavier than originals and not quite as well made finish wise.
