i've got a black fabia vrs and i'm looking to mod it. so far i have changed the panel filter for a green cotton panel filter, i've had it lowered 25mm and had it remapped to 170 bhp.

how much more power can i get without havin to reinforce engine parts and what do u suggest?:confused:

Well, I'm pushing 260bhp on standard internals. You can push the bolt on bits fairly far before you start needing to worry about the engine blowing up, etc. However far you push the engine though, don't forget about the important things like brakes and clutch, etc.

As Jason said you can go 250+ on standard internals but your going to be spending some £'s for that

My Seat Ibiza TDi was running about 220-230 and IIRC that cost me about 2K

Turbo/Clutch/Mapping/FMIC....and so on.
