05 Fabia 1.4 TDi

I have looked through the forum, but not spotted anything but I have just noticed that when I have the fan on slow(ish) and put it in reverse then the fan speeds up !

Is this normal and if so why?

if not any idea's what is causing this?

The fan is going into recirc mode so you don't bring in the exhaust fumes as you reverse back through them. Perfectly normal.
