Require Skoda Octavia Owners Manual

Require Skoda Octavia Owners Manual

I've been searching the internet for the Skoda Octavia Owners Manual in any downloadable format. I've been unable to locate any such information! It's alright even if it's a web page with this information.

I guess the Skoda Superb or Laura manual would be the same. I don't know whether Volkswagen has any other car that's almost similar. In that case an owners manual for a similar Volkswagen car would be good enough.

Please post links to Skoda Octavia Owners Manual in any downloadable format.

Thanks.

I don't think it's (legally) available online but you can get them from the dealer

I'm assuming you have a Mk1 Octavia?

I happen to have mine on my desk. Part no. on the back is 1U0 012 003 FH

Any idea how much they are? The promised "owners manuals and full service history" that were promised for the missus' Fabia have never turned up from the previous owner :(

Thanks for the reply.

I've recently purchased a 2002 Skoda Octavia Ambiente model.

Why shouldn't a legal version of the owners manual be available? I even think that Skoda should start providing a DVD with the instruction manual and also provide as a free download!

I have Owner's Manuals for the Felicia, Octavia, New Octavia and Superb. All cost less than £5 each from a Skoda dealer when I bought them. The part number for the English version of the Mk 1 Octavia's manual is S6356102120. See the Skoda UK FAQ below for part numbers for other manuals:

I guess that I might have to buy it from the dealer. It'd still be great to have a PDF file with the instructions. It's much easier to search or locate anything with a PDF format file.

That'd be excellent!

I think there's a lot of people searching for the downloadable format of the manual. I've seen a lot of posts by people searching for it on other forums and also on this forum.

You probably could even start a new thread and ask the staff here to make it a "sticky" post in the forum. Post a link to the new thread here.

Thanks.

Half an hour? There's 130-odd pages! :D

i was told by my dealer that you cant have a manual, only when you buy the car and only at the time of purchasing it and they were informed of that from hq.

Refer them to the Skoda UK FAQ which I quoted above.

i got one for free and i didn't even buy the car from them :)

Downloadable copies of current (and olders) models are available off the main international Skoda web site:

?koda Auto - Documentation

"We offer you the opportunity to download and print user manuals and brochures as a part of documentation of your car.

Please, choose the Škoda model, the documentation of which you are looking for.

If you have any questions or recommendations regarding the documentation, please send us a message via e-mail [email protected]. (Please write in Czech or English.)"

I know this doesn't help Octavia I owners but it quite clearly proves Skoda wants you to have this information electronically.

How come then that you can download any Vauxhall manual from their website?

There is a sticky thread at the top of each of the main owners forums with links to documents for all the current and previous skoda models (Octy, Fabia, Superb). These downloads are direct from Skoda, and you can download the owners manual and radio/nav manual.

For the octy1, the link is.
