Does anybody know if this is retrofittable on an 08spec L&K estate.

I ticked the option in the vag-com code screen. But still no luck.

Also noticed a few empty relay slots (with pins in) under the drivers side dashboard.

Anybody tried this yet.

I would think you would need suitable lights with additional motors in them, plus sensors linked up to the steering such that the ECU can tell which direction the steering is pointing and adjust the lights to suit.

As to what is fitted to cars without this I don't know.

From what I understand, the standard fog lamps are used without any motors etc.

The bulbs are faded in and out according to the amount of cornering and at a low speed - less than 40kph.

I noticed some blank relay slots (with metal pins in the holes) underneath the dash on the drivers side. Maybe all we need is the correct relay modules?.

Has anybody got a map of all the relays under the dash and what they do?

Would be great if this is all we needed.

Do not mix Cornering function with the Adaptive lights.

Cornering is (as phil&k says) implemented by turning on the fog light on the side of the curve direction. Useful in dark parking places. Works for speeds under 40 km/h (AFAIK).
