You do right. Mines a mint example and far more for the money than dealers charge.

Take a note of my number from the advert.

All the best.:)

but thats with profit margins in, plus costs for warranty, servicing, storage, paint, fuel, and cleaning. i

f you think you can sell your car on ebay have a bash, the reason people take less for their trade ins is its less hassle. you turn up, they value it and unless you do any damage for it you get what youve been promised. you dont get people knocking you up day and night asking for money off due to this and that etc etc. plus the extra costs of keeping it clean and advertising costs.

remember they ARE in business to turn a profit, if they buy your car for the price you see it on their forecourts how long will they be in business for?

i know they have to make a profit.as i say ive seen the same car as mine same mileage at a few dealers for £6000.some of these dealers have been offering me £3000,just how much profit do these guys have to make.im starting to have second thoughts about selling the volvo now.

depends, but i bet they didnt pay 3k for those cars on their forecourts :)

end of the day, if the car they have is the right one for you and if they arent offering you a good enough price for your px, let them know. tell them you will deal NOW if they increase their offer. you'd be surprised how much they will bend when you show commitment.

if they cant go any higher my move would be to stick my hand out and say "im sorry we couldnt do business today" they will do one of two things, either pap them selves and realise your serious about going without buying, or if they really cant go any higher with the px price they will shake hands and it time to move on
