At the end of my road is a 54 plate vrs estate in silver that has a for sale sign in the window. Its priced at £3995 which seems very cheap to me, although it does have 150000 miles on the clock. Looking around it, i might be an ex police car as there are no badges and there is a cage accross the back (the police have them fitted dont they?)

Does this seem like a good deal or am I better off sticking with my 'low mileage' 114k battered hatch?

Most ex police cars don't have a radio and will have a few holes where the aerials have been.
