can someone help?!

Featured Replies

hi all, just a quick question. the vrs is due its first service in 400 miles. i get the little spanner when i turn the ignition on but i also get a little clock that reads 94. the impression i got from the manual was that it was the estimated ammount of days before the service was due but surely 94 days to cover 400 miles cant be right! sorry to come across as thick but i was just wondering if anyone could shed some light on it for me - thanks,

joe

It's done by time rather than mileage. So it looks like last time it was serviced it was set to be serviced again at a certain date.

ah, i see. would this still apply with it being the 1st service thats due?

thanks

Mine is coming up to its first service (10,000 miles) and it has been counting down in miles.

The annoying thing is that by 9300 miles it was telling me that it needed servicing and the little spanner and 'INSP' comes up when i turn the key.

Anyway booked in for next week so soon be sorted.

94 days , this is how long you have got until it is a year old , or to be precise a year since the car was PDI'd and the technician set up the service reminder

so your service is due in 400 miles or 94 days , whichever the soonest

also don't forget the Fabia should have an annual inspection yearly as well as the 10k service
