The problems with this car never end

2 Faults Found:

19586 - EGR System Regulation Range Exceeded

P3130 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

16955 - Brake Switch (F): Implausible Signal

P0571 - 35-00 - -

I fixed the first one, the vac pipe which connects to the egr had warn through on the engine cover. But cant quite work out what the second one means. :confused:

Anyone know????

It means you need a new brake switch mate.

There is yet another modified part - 1K2 945 511.

I don't think they are expensive John.

I've never fitted one myself but I'm lead to believe it takes a bit of care and is a once only chance. Ross is the best man to ask I expect.

Me niether, I think its something to do with the retaining clips that snap shut to hold the switch in place and to remove it would require breaking the clips, hence why once its fitted the switch cannot be re-used.

Think ill whip the trim off tomorrow and have a look, cheers for that stu
