Having recieved my Vag-com lead in the UK-mkivs groups buy (thanks bas) I today finally got around to installing the software and plugging it in. One fault on a cliamtronic flap which there is a good chance of fixing by running settings (thanks lummox).

But finally I could change the parking sensors not to come on when reversing with a trailer (genuine skoda loom used for electrics). I have asked farmers in leicster and telfords in carlisle to do this while in for a service and left the instructions on the seat, but both claimed no it would not work, did it with vag-com and it worked, so hurahh :thumbup: to vag-com and booo :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn: to dealers.

nice one, it makes me laugh dealer wants an hours labour to add 2nd fog light, vrs stu did mine in about 30 seconds (i missed one box to tick or untick) but works a treat now.

In fairness to the dealers their system works in an entirely different manner and so the tweaks that we've all be lucky enough to find aren't readily available to them.

ibet some have vag com as well, just an excuse to sit out back doing the sudoku and have a coffee before coming back out to claim how hard they been working

I would be fair where it not skoda instructions stating how to do it which I followed on vag-vom and worked fine, same block, code etc.
