Part numbers for everything to fit a front 22mm ARB

Featured Replies

Hi there- now my little brother's Felicia has a year's ticket on it, It may be time to play a bit...

so does anyone have the relevant part mumbers for the ARB conversion?

I DID try to search for the part details, but was confronted with a myriad of fabia and octavia stuff too...

any help much appreciated!

Neil

Thanks for the part numbers Pinkskud! ...Am I right in thinking the 22mm arb upgrade is the same for the Favorit?

I think Briskoda should combine the Felicia section with the Fav as they are nearly the same cars, would save some confusion I think.

dont know if the fav's wish bones have the holes for the outter mountings.

if not, you'll have to get a set of felicia ones.

:iagree: tis true

the old rally boys used to use felicia arms on the fav, cuz there stronger as well. there a direct fit.

...So basically to uprade Favorit suspension you need, Felicia bottom arms, felicia front wishbones and 22mm anti roll bar and bushings?

Thread revival!

After being under my car today and noticing that I have a rear ARB it got me thinking.

Is there a way to fit a stiffer ARB to the rear and also I would too like to fit a front ARB but the link you posted pinkskud isn't working now that I think has the part's I need.

Thanks

if you already have a front ARB then its easy. you just need the 22mm ARB off a vw caddy. and the inner mount rubbers.

if you dont have an ARB to start with then you'll need all the mounts, inner and outer and new wishbones.

as for the rear you'll have to make something custom from another arb.

Why would i require ne wishbones? Do the ones without an ARB not have the mounting holes on?

Phil

thats right

Do all diesels have an anti roll bar due to the extra weight of the engine?

Should be able to get hold of some pretty easy if that's the case.

Also what year caddy is it? The 1996 ish (same as the felicia?)

Thanks

Phil

haha, another epic thread bump methinks

Lol.

Don't see the point in starting new threads when it's relevant to something already been posted about!

Just getting a bit mroe confident with a spanner and thinking of things I can do! :D

Thanks Tom!

I knew i had seen something on here like that before... and it was my thread too! lol

Will investigate into this as I think it would make a fair difference along with a stiffer strut brace maybe!

Phil
