Shroud For High Level Braking Light

This spontanoeously broke and fell off my Fabia saloon the day before I went on my hols !

Does anybody know if these are easily avaialble and how much they cost to replace ?

The plastic shroud is located in the passenger compartment and sits underneath the braking light, bridging the gap in the headlining caused by the light fixing. It appears that both locating lugs have broken.

Mine broke when I took it off to fit FABIA brake light cover.The cost of a new one from main dealers was, much to my surprise just over a fiver.Took only two days to arrive as well

Has anyone cleaned the air conditioning evaporator on an Octavia 4 (2021, 81 kW, 1.0 TSI)? Last winter I had problems with the heater core, and it has since been replaced. However, I can still occasionally notice a musty smell coming from the evaporator. So far, I haven't been able to figure out exactly where the evaporator is located or where the cleaning foam should be applied. Is it possible to access it from underneath through the condensate drain and clean it that way? Does anyone have a cl

Cold start rattling noise

I noticed strange rattling sound coming from from the engine upon a cold start and after some time sound disappears. It looks like it's coming from belts or water pump which was replaced 20.000km ago at 40.000km. The pump is working fine after the replacement even though I noticed certain coolant leakage (let's say 5mm of coolant level dropped during last 3.000km) without any visible trace. Even my dealership garage didn't found any leakage by putting the cooling system under the pressure.

My recent (non-Skoda) cars have given dashboard warnings when the battery in the key fob runs down. This gives the driver the opportunity to change the battery and to keep the key functional. The battery in my Superb's key fob recently ran down, and it went from fully operational (working the button "plip" as well as the keyless entry) to completely flat during the course of a day at work.
