strange locking fault

hi i have a octavia vrs 51 plate and it has accuired a fault with the locking

it locks and unlocks ok but when unlocked if i open the passenger door theres no interior lights on and no light in the door but if i press unlock on the remote a second time they come on.then when i lock the doors the passenger door unlocks if i press lock again it locks and works ok after that

also when i try and lock the car from the inside when driving with the switch on the drivers door panel the passenger side won`t lock it bounces.it`s not a desperate repaire but a very niggly fault it`s started doing it since the central locking fuse blew.

is there anyway to reset the system cause a freind said it had gone out of sequence
