.......... Don't get one from GSF.

Had to get one in a rush on Saturday - what a load of carp.

I'll only buy genuine from GSF now, some of the pattern parts have been of dubious quality. The worst I've had was an ignition barrel for a MK2 golf and it wasn't even round!

How did you get on in the end buddy, get to the bottom of it?

Not really mate.

OEM switch was deffo fecked - I took it apart and had a look inside.

The GSF switch was also fecked.

I'm pretty sure everything else checked out ok but will know more when the new switch is fitted.
