A very painfull experience made all the worse by the amount of clowns timewasters and retards (one of which rang me at 3.47 am!) to ask me "wots the least you,d take for it mate" plus 5 different money scams in one day!. I will never ever sell a car privately again,money wise you are worse off if you just part ex,but it is hassle free,i think what has happened to me over the last couple of weeks must of knocked 5 years off my life in stress.

Agreed, selling privately can be a nightmare. Tyre-kickers and time wasters galore. Failing that you get canvassers all the time. Horrid experience.

The worst one to sell was my MKI MR2. The amount of 'tards that turned up to look at that was unreal. One guy turned up in a yellow Punto, ranted on about how BMW's are better, then decided that mine needed a load of work (which it didn't) then told me I was asking about £1k too much. Funny then how I managed to sell if for the asking price a few days later.

How come you sold the Furby?
