I have a 'Y' Plate Octavia VRS it is fitted with 16" Alloys are these standard or should they be bigger ?

Some of the early ones and imports ran 16" Spider alloys.

I think they should be 17" on all vRS. I,v got an 04 plate and that has 17s.

No, Lummox has hit the nail on the head. Apparently if you took the car back to the dealerships they would often replace the 16's with 17's free of charge, obviously at the time... not now!

I'd be interested in them, if you fancy getting something bigger

Seen a few hatches with them fitted now, and the Estate ran them as standard fitment, through the entire production run.
