AMD One Click Owners - Urgent Advice Needed!

Featured Replies

Help AMD One Click Owners!

I have a AMD one click and am trying to revert to the standard map and my instructions say with the ignition off, insternt the One Click into the socket and press and hold the button untill the green light starts to flash, wait 4 minutes for another green light to come on and hey presto!

That is not what is happening, the after the green light started to flash the red light began flashing and has been now for over 10mins!

I have rung AMD and their guy was not sure about the process and he thought that the Ignition would need to be switched on during the process in order for the one click to access the ECU.

Has anyone reverted back to their standard mapping and can offer me any advice on what the actual process is?

Thanks!

I used one of these in my first Fabia, followed the instructions and had no problems reverting back to standard, when necessary.

DNA Tuning - Home may be able to assist, if AmD cannot.

I know with REVO you need to have the igniton on but that's plain switching and not uploading.

You need to plug it in then turn the key to position 1 without starting the engine. Press the button on the One-Click till you see the green light then hold the button down till it starts flashing. After a short while you'll see the green light turn green and stay that way. The same process is used for going back and forth. Hope that helps.

I may be being stupid here but who are DNA Tuning and what have they got to do with the AMD one click?

The device is not made by AMD but a company called Milford Microsystems. DNA use the same unit I think.

ok that sounds sensilble, but what should i do at the moment?

The unit is still plugged into my car with the red light flashing and ignition off, is it safe just to pull it out?

just pull it out then put it back in and follow the steps. I've had the same problem once and thought uh oh! but it was all good after doing it again.

ok i will go and try it now, to say i am in panic mode here is an understatement!

Just unplug it. Turn everything off and them start again with the ignition on (not engine)

Then hold the button till it starts flashing. If you just tap the button the light will turn red which is for the performance map.
