Used Skoda Warranty and breakdown assistance info

Featured Replies

From personal experience: The Skoda website mentions that any approved used Skoda under 6 years old and with less than 60k on the clock comes with 12 months warranty and 12 months SkodaAssist (provided by RAC). Dealer we bought from said we wouldn't get the SkodaAssist as our one would be over 6 years old before the end of the 12 months cover (sounds a bit odd as that's not how it's sold/advertised!). After some wrangling, dealer has agreed that we do get both the assist & warranty. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

thats a bit tight of them, it clearly states as long as its not older than 6 years when the policy is started. PLus if they sold you the car saying it had warranty and the rac cover they wouldnt have a leg to stand on!

shame theres so many dealers out there ready and willing to tarnish skodas good name!

Tell me about it! Customer Services have gone all quiet on the matter....no doubt their web developers are changing the wording on the skoda website as I type! :D Just thought I'd share that with everyone so they don't lose out!

I got a top up on my warrenty from my dealer from skoda auto care an extra 6 months to top up as the skoda warrenty is nearly up.
