Hi all,

My Revo'd Octavia vRS has been fine since I got it on the 1st March but has now developed a loud ticking noise when on full boost (from about 3k rpm onwards) . It isn't really noticeable on std map.

It sounds like it could be the exhaust blowing or a leak from somewhere. Has anyone had anything like this before?

Check the centre mounts (about in line with the B pillar, centre of the car)

Thanks. Do you think they may just need tightening? The noise sounds more like it is coming from the engine bay - manifold?

After a visit to Gordon Lamb Skoda in Chesterfield the car is now fixed.

The turbo itself had come loose.

Gordon Lamb fixed it while I waited - fantastic service.
