Preparing For Summer

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I get my oil changed once a year at a local independent place - I will be etting my bake fluid changed also

I dont drive my car much - Once or twice a week - But when I do drive its normally not for long and in cold weather.

What should I do to make sure the car does nt cause me too much trouble

Short infrequent journeys sounds like a recipe for disaster to me:thumbdwn:

Major engine wear, Poss' battery issues:thumbdwn:

What constitutes a short journey?

I drive my car like 3-4 times a week home from Uni and back... 40 miles each way without a stop...

short = about 3 or 4 miles at most. 40 miles will be fine as it will be fully warmed up after 5 miles and the other 35 just does it good. :D
