Somebody has keyed the Furby... Not amused!

Featured Replies

Sorry to here about the pond-life that you share a neighborhood with. Someone chucked a paving slab at the wall on my house last week, then legged it down the road and put a chunk through the windscreen on some guys Audi.....

The country is going to the dogs......!

Haha! That's a cool avatar mate! You should get one where he's chomping on a large cigar though!

Feel for ya matey, my Civic Type R had it passenger side door kicked in by a group of mindless thugs when it was only 7 months old

Funny thing was we could hear them up the end of the road so me and few neighbours took a walk up for a chat ;)

Didn’t get the full repair of the car paid but after someone called the police and it went to court the scaly that admitted to doing it had to pay £50 towards the repair!

Hope you get it sorted..

Big Mikey whereabout in Liverpool are you?I'm in south Liverpool and have a Porter Cable. Not sure if I can do anything with deep scratches but I might be able to make them much less noticeable. And if you have any swirls over the car I might be able to sort those out too. There's another member on here who wants their car sorting out, might be worth doing both in a day one weekend?

I have no faith in the police either.

But I think that if there was a better system in place, one without as much paperwork, then at least some officers would want to do more.

bring back stoning I say. Little tw**ts

2 Large, 2 Flats and a bag of gravel please:D

Mate, I've no idea what a porter cable is(!) but if you think you can help me then I'd be very very grateful. You can at least take a look and give me a quote, I'd appreciate that. The scratches aren't really that deep - it was a bit of a half-hearted attempt at a scratch really - it's down to the white in places, but they could have been a lot worse. I live in West Derby mate and could come to wherever you are in South Liverpool this weekend.

While we're talking about scratches, someone scratched mine a while back. Wasn't very deep but two body shops said it would need to be repainted. Wanted to take it somewhere decent but didn't want to spend my life savings so I took it to a large independant body shop in my area. He said it would need painting and quoted me about £450 I think. I took the car in and he phoned me a few hours later saying he'd polished it out and he'd charge me £80. No complaints about the work either. Fingers crossed you are in the same boat Mikey - haven't seen the damage though.

Thanks man - hope so too!

I had the exact same done to mine, but they did mine down to the metal, just bought a house too, so can't afford a fix.

Reported it to the Police, but I believe I just turned into a mere statistic.

....The gouge (sp?) still lives on....

Just as well it's galvanised eh.

Not a nice thing to happen, know what you mean about "not a bad area" My Dads old E class got keyed when it was 2 weeks old.. was a lease motor though so least it was going back!

In a similer vain, at least no dent! I got hit by half a brick on the M40 the other day (no, really...).. fell of a truck, thought I'd missed it till I heard "Thunk, Thud,Thwack,Dunk"... Had effectivily rolled up the drivers door and tried to come through rear passenger window :-( Down to metal work, deep dents, two huge scuffs on window!.. only thing I have to be glad id that it hit the sides and not the nose, bonnet, windscreen or roof! least I can fix the door on a budget!

anyone breaking a petrol green Furby? ;-) I want ya door!

Rob.

sorry to hear that mate little w@nk£rs, hate it when people do things like that it happened to me with an old car and was cut up about it.
