I'm going to put my boost gauge in a pod but i'm not sure which one to use

I want it on the A pillar as low as possible

I've found this one

But it looks quite high (and tacky in carbon fibre!)

or

I could use this one and just attatch it myself

What would you do?

Or any other suggestions, links to Decent pods etc

Cheers

Steve

I like Pod 1 think it would go well in a Fabia.

One of my mates has pod 1 in his civic while it looks OK it's really in your face,

Though that could be down to the steeper rake on the A pillar

Mines going in the drivers side airvent, well it is when i get round to it. ;)

SINGLE GAUGE MOUNT UNIVERSAL

How about this one?

I've got the non carbon fibre version of this and have trimmed it to sit on top of the steering column cowling, just havn't had a chance to fit it yet....

i voted for pod 1 reason being i had they pod 2 style in my Fiesta rs turbo and after a while the nut came loose and wouldnt stay straight just kept going floppy like a donkey d*ck :D

kept going floppy like a donkey d*ck :D

That's conjured up a really scary mental image:eek:

You may have just scarred me for life:D

I was thinking of getting the 1st one and a spare A pillar trim then chopping it down a little and smoothing it in then respraying it

Steve

I found one on ebay - from a HK manufacturer. Plain black plastic - needs some trimming and adjusting but looks quite subtle...

Did think about the dashpod one but really the pillar is the place to put a single gauge...

Any links?

Steve

I had a look at 3 different pillar pods and none were suitable as the Fabia pillar is too deep.....

Any links?

oops - sorry, should have thought about it: Mind this is for a Left Hand Drive car - but a search of the guy's shop should show up a RHD model... Brand New 52mm Single Gauge LHD Pillar Mount Pod Black - eBay Interior Styling, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 23-Oct-07 11:28:54 BST)

Colour matches in pretty well with the OEM plastic - just needs some careful trimming to fit in with double-sided 3M tape.

If you can't fit a dragon box without a detailed picture guide, perhaps you shouldn't be messing around under the bonnet.......:rofl:

Twas being slightly ironic as I know Joel ;)

Don't worry - I was brought up as a spannermonkey!

I'm really waiting for a before/ after review from him before I blow £150 notes!
