If it's out its only just out, and they will no doubt charge a fortune for it lol. I just got a normal one on one of those rare things called a 12 month contract!

Bloody hell! You did well then. I hope you enjoy the phone it is a commendable beast, but I think it will cause disappointment when compared to that mahoosive Cray 2 positioned in yr bedroom

(just incase you're too young to remember)

haha! fastest machine in the world! lol! It will be when I force col at gun point to overclock it from its standard 2.4 gig up to 3 hehe. and make him put more RAM in it!! Don't need anymore? pah!! If I can HAVE more, I NEED more! LOL!

anyway - applications? anyone?? :(

Superbomber Man - thats the only application you'll need to keep you occupied for hours!

ive got over a gb of symbian stuff... problem is, as youve guessed its on my other computer :o

why bother with tomtom loz?

i have spent a week in spain and been all over the place using nokia maps and paying for the voice navigation. get the latest version and its really very good :)

TomTom is free to use once you have installed it.

but it cannot use the integrated gps reciever, it has to use a bluetooth gps reciever. the nokia voice navigation is only about Β£40 for 3 years or something.

The Flickr app is good ----> Flickr: Nokia: Configure Your N95

Does anyone have a good app for watching DivX?

Also can anyone recomend a nice case?

Sorry to hijack your thead Loz :P

I'll second Nokia maps as a good program I have had no trouble with it at all. Though I am yet to use the voice function as I ain't needed it

there is a proper divx player for symbian... but the best general mediaplayer is coreplayer which plays everything (xvid, h264, divx) its not free but for $25 its worth it!

What do you reckon's the best app for profile customising, timing etc?

And agree on Coreplayer -

As for the applications: been looking for them too, surely there must be a Symbian website that lists what software runs on N95. (I checked but these websites look more like a collection of adverts trying to sell you a new phone when you are actual looking for apps for your new phone!)

Nokia Maps seems to be more intiutive than Tomtom, warnings are coming in at the right time, but maps inacurate when compared to TT6. Still only a matter of time I guess.
