last time i drove vauxhaul it was a ventora, was quite rapid in them good old days

did them with tourin car decals on em didnt they in yellow ??

actually they did most in white, and a few in red, silver and black too. although one of the red ones died and was apartently reshelled!

they also did a one off estate in blue (my personal favourite!! ) this year they did a big ST200 stand at PVS. there was quite impressive

mate had one in white with some yellow stickers on it, was quite quick, but went up in flames, loom fault

ah that was the ST. they were also limited but not as much as the ST200. the St200's were tens where as the ST version was hundreds. they also did them in 2ltr versions. they were just normal SRI vectra's with a few extras like the alloys, interior and front bumper. they also had the option of the yellow graphics, bit like the octy WRC 100!

i suppose the normal ST vectras are more like the fab SE as it was only the looks that were changed, not the performance. they still command a slight premium over a standard vectra, but no where near as much as the ST200 does

I think they did a black ST3000 estate too, im nearly sure of it (also a resident Vaux nut, used to work for a dealer...)

Dont vectras have dodgy electrics and awfull handling?

Just got rid of SWMBO's Vectra Estate 2.0 Turbo Diesel

247000 miles on it great car for the ECO TEC.

And on the point of this thread 007 would be better than 001 IMHO as it is Bond's car.

Went to rainworth at the weekend to see if they'd swap for my 2006 56 black fab vrs with 13K on it for No.1 (its now got 3.5K miles on it). They wanted £4.5k plus mine.

I wasn't bothered about No.1 so i asked bout the other one they've just got with 3K on it and they still wanted mine plus 4K.

They were honest though and said get mine remapped instead.

I just really like the colour, cruise and the leather, but with a nipper on the way i can't afford that much.

If only i'd waited 4 months when i bought mine.....Gutted:(.

Only a £500 premium for number one isn't as bad as I was expecting.

It's odd isn't it? On the market for six weeks and still not sold. Anyone would think it wasn't a bargain...
