£14k for a Fabia vRS!

Not just that:

Mileage: 2855

£14k for an ex-demo!

Surely no one other than a bunch of Fabia geeks are going to care that its number 1 of a line of not-so-special editions? Its not like its a 4x4 monster or it has any really speical toys. Its just a Fabia VRS with nice paint and some embossed seats.

perhaps I'm missin gsomething here

ye i have seen that on the website

Perhaps they're getting desperate to shift it........... :D

number 1 and 7 were available in a closed auction. we thought about bidding for it but i think looking at that maybe they paid over the odds for it :D

boycott it, nobody buy it :P

I've offered them 50p and a Chunky Kitkat.

But I'm prepared to go up to 50p and a Wispa.

Looking at the advert even the seller isn't making a big deal about the numbering.

You aren't missing anything because you, like me, find this sooooooooo trivial.

Imagine the uproar if Skoda actually made more than a 1000 and reused the numbers, thinking the owners would never meet

I own an SE, and it's not quite the same as a normal vRS.

The seats are much nicer, leather, not that ugly colour. Plus you've got cruise control, the CD auto changer (6 CDs), and the race blue is more beautiful than any other colour (all these options are worth a good 2 grand and it makes the SE a better deal than a normal vRS). And yes, it is nice to have your own number on the seats. I bet that car will not be on sale for long, even though it was apparently a demo. A few guys on this site have already clearly expressed their wish to buy an SE when they'll get the chance. It's a cool car! :)

However all these opinions are worth sweet FA

It was missing one important option I.M.O, Xenon headlights... I'd rather it had those than a CD auto changer...

They must be wanting more for them because of the low numbers ?? I payed lot less than that for a very low miles one and not a demo, wife wanted a yella one but see the blue and changed her mind , crackin car thou

it also states in the ad the car has ESP, which it doesn't, the omission of ESP was one of the things that put me off buying a SE........

its the same with any limited run. Im very familar with vectras and vx did a limited run of the vectra b called the ST200. it had lowered suspension, recaro seats, LSD, v6 with about 200 bhp, steinmetz side skirts, irmscher rear valance and ST/GSi front bumper. It also had AP 4 pot brakes and was built to celerabrate the racing of v6 challenge cars.

These are now quite sort after (mostly by vectra geeks like me ;)) but mainly due to the actual one off nature and performance upgrades like the brakes and LSD.

these SE fab's are nice, limited and a bit different to the normal ones, but sadly not worth anything over a normal vrs of the same condition/mileage/age than a normal one imoa. maybe a few years down the line they will be worth more? i think they should have stuck some performance upgrades on it too really give the old fab one last bang before being replaced :)

just like the colour matches my navara, leathers a nice touch and the tints

Was that the 'white only' Vectra?
