ABS Info

Featured Replies

I was having problems with my ABS coming on pretty much all of the time, so took it to the dealers to be fixed under warranty. The computer showed all sensors and ecu to be ok, turned out it was a bad wiring connection (water ingress)under the battery near the plenum chamber ( so the tech said?). Apparently Skoda are aware of this fault & carried out the repair in good will as car was used when bought & wiring is not covered on the used car warranty.

The moral is, if you have a fault like this it could be a wiring fault like mine.

Very interesting. Mine does this too and there was a recent post where it appeared to be a not uncommon fault.

Many thanks
