Hi Guys, need some help.

I am thinking of getting the car remapped on Monday and have found out that my current insurance company will not insure any vehicle that has been modded.

Could you nice peeps please tell me who you got your remapped Fabia Vrs insurance from?

Not sure about specialist insurers, but I'm sure some folks on here will be able to help you...

As for the re-map - you didn't hear this from me, but as it's a less obvious mod (ie - not a cosmetic one so to speak), you could just not tell them. It's unlikely they'd find out. Unless someone from your insurance company is ever likely to hoof the ****er on an open road...

Or he has a smash and the car gets inspected and the insurance subsequently invalidated. And then there's the small matter of fraud....... :thumbdwn:

I know that there is a risk if you don't but I would rather pay the extra for piece of mind.

Sorry, mine isn't modded so I couldn't recommend. I've seen Adrian Flux mentioned regularly for modded cars, and I'm with Admiral at the moment.......

There should be plenty of info about insuring a modded Fabia vRS in the ICE, Security and Insurance section...

I never modded mine so I can't recommend any

Haha! Of course I'd admit everything to my insurance company - I even told them about my vRS poppy coral mod.
