what size are the standard speakers in the front and back of a 2001 Octavia?

I would like to know this aswell as i am looking at upgrading mine

Fronts are 6.5" not to sure about the rears,i dont use them.

Are they easy enough to change...ie, just pop the covers off and replace??

Front 6.5"

Rear 4" in hatch , 6x4" in estate

Fronts are dead easy , the cover unclips , but you'll need shallow replacements to avoid hitting the metal

Whats a good speaker to use as an upgrade then???

I Just want a bit of bass...

Sorry to bump an old thread but what is the maximum depth I can use on the front and a matter of fact the rear too, of a Octavia Mk1 VRS? This is the only thread I've found that gives a definite answer to speaker size.
