Nokia 6300

Featured Replies

After much delibiration I decided to ditch the iphone idea and purchase a Nokia 6300 for £80, and I'm glad I did. I can bluetooth my music from itunes and photo's from iphoto without any problems.

The phone simply cannot be beaten for the money and I'm glad I did not waste my money on an iphone.

I'd like to upgrade the micro sd card though, I was looking at 8gb san disk SD cards however the Nokia site recommends 2gb cards can anyone clarify what the maximum capacity supported is?

Cheers

Nokia always state a low maximum for compatible mem cards. Back in the day a large card would work fine but affect battery life. I'm not so sure this is an issue now.

I sometimes secretly wish I had a simpler more straight forward phone than the N95.....

Nothing complicated about the N95 Roy :)

Maybe I should have said I wish I had the faculties to cope with such an uncomplicated phone as the N95.

I spend far too much time trying to get all the stuff on it to work properly!

I've got a 6300, had it while now. If it lasts anywhere near as long as my old nokia I'll be very happy.

Couple of points I've found. 1) I wish the stainless steel was aluminum to make it lighter 2) the camera is frankly awful unless its bright and image is still. Other than that
