In all honesty it's not that type of car. It's a great little car but it's never going to be a perfomance car.

Change the order to the 12v version

As VRStu said it's not really that type of car. The 12v is much better, but on the positive side the figures for the 6v version are much better than those in the Fabia MK1 as it has had a power boost since then.

Which part of performance?

If its aceleration using the gears and pressing the accelerator helps

If its MPG a bit of the opposite will easily get you to 50 mpg, the only other way to get that performance is to buy an oil burner but the car and fuel is more expensive
