Anyone on here?

Featured Replies

Hi guy's

when on my travels today on my bike,

I found a house that had a felicia a fabia and a favourit outside - all looked in running condition, near a town called Seasalter, in Kent.

Anyone on here.

bluish felly

jade green furby

red favourit

Anyone with all those must know of briskoda surely?

Thats really unusual. They have all 3 front wheel drive small hatch Skodas in sequence. They might be members of the Skodas Owner's club though.

or just cheapskates :D

or just cheapskates

Maybe, but doing cheap with style and confidence ...unlike Daewoo Nexia owners lol.

don't know about style but definately confident :P

You tend to find in rural areas that 'most' car owners buy from the local/nearest dealer, whatever marque it is, for ease of servicing etc.

Is/was there a Skoda dealer locally?

Then again I may be talking carp, and they might just like Skodas.

Then again I may be talking carp,

sounds fishy to me!

Certainly on the Skoda owners club forum most members "just like Skodas" not because they are a new car and want the latest electric crap and to look cool in a new car but because they generally respect the marque. Thier parents might have worked for the old skoda in the 70s/80s or their mum/dad/relative might have owned one which brought them to buying a Skoda today. This probably exists with all manufacturers but its special in Skoda's case as they are not the popularist's choice.

I have always been 'Brand Loyal' up to a point.

I had Citroens for over 20 years, then dabbled with Peugeots, until I bought a new Polo in 1999.

I wanted a Polo GT but it was too expensive so the Fabia vRS came along 2 years ago.

3 Fabia vRS's and an Octavia later, and I cant see better bang for buck out there.

actually no its in the middle of knowhere really,

I've driven quite a few cars, my first car is a felly.

And although i really want a convertible for my 2nd car like an mx-5 or mgf or mr2 or s2000. I simply can't afford it atm.

But i have test driven many different cars and to be honist:

if my next car isnt a convertible then its gonna be an octy vrs!

Get some of those cutters the fire people use and make a convertible felly. Might not be insurable though, lol. There is actually the odd one or two Rapid convertibles out there. There's a thread with good pics somewhere over in Other Skoda forum :)

now that would be interesting,

a convertible felly.

I actually would do that however mine is a Laurin and Klement and to butcher it would be mad!

Maybe if i buy that one thats always on Ebay or another cheap one.

Cut the roof off and some how fit a soft top roof to it,

But not like those crappy ones that just folds over the top, where the roof used to be

I want one that folds back along the roof and down the window into the boot sort of thing, one with a plastic window, just like a mgf or mx-5.

yeah it could be a project then i could fabricate some new engine mounts and get a octy 1.8T in there!

What do you think everyone?

PLEASE don't make it look as ugly as a Pug CC :D

There is a convertable Felicia, and Favorit.

Made by a company called MTX....

Graham you are dead right. My local dealer was Skoda, alas there are hundreds of everything up to the Octy 2 on my local roads. The next nearest dealers are in Peterborough 20 miles away.

However, recently they changed to Daihatsu, and now there are hundreds of horrible little Sirions about :thumbdwn: On the plus side, they always have a great selection of used, low mileage Skodas for sale!! Luckily they have remained Skoda indepentant for servicing and the like too :)

Oh, and the MTX Favorit looks hilarious!! I've seen ONE in the flesh, several years ago now...

ive stayed loyal to the brand for a good few years now , have had estelles rapids, favorits, felicias, a fun and a fabia. 28 in total. only got 1 estelle, 1 favorit (pushaboutable storage shed), a fun and a fabia at the moment though
