Anyone know if a Mk1 vRS shares its drop links with anything else? Mine are quite tired, and I can get a discount from VW so would rather buy there than Skoda if possible. I was thinking the golf ones may be similar?

they are but gsf are cheaper even with cost discount of vw ones 18quid if i remember rightly for both

Just make sure you get decent quality ones from GSF. My recent meeting with one of their brake pedal switches wasn't too favourable.

As for buying from VW just quote the part number and they'll let you know.

Is it 2wd or 4wd TT that is the same (ie droplink attaches to the bottom of the spring pan on the strut)?
