Hi, new user here. Just bought a Skoda Felicia 1.9 diesel. Horrible oily smell within the cabin. Been advised to change the oil as they need fully synthetic. Smell not as bad but still there, air cleaner is clean. Been told the gearbox breather could be blocked but according to previous keeper its been done. Cars only done 59000. Doesn't smoke when foot to floor. :finger: Any ideas..........?

is there any signs of oil spillage in the engine, particularly down the back of the engine?? or any leaks?? it could just be vapour finding it's way in through the fresh air ducts

Welcome :)
