Two Way Radio

Featured Replies

Hellloooo!

Need some help, really cant get my head round this. What im looking for is two way radios (2 of) plus a headset (ear speaker thingy + mic). Not all brands use the same type of jacks for headsets, and sometime even individual brands seem to use more than one type. I have already bought a headset which uses "standard " jacks (one 3.5mm and one 2.5mm) and already have Binatone MR300 radios, but the headset doesnt work, so need a solution :D

i have the bt 2way ones, did have a handsfree kit for one of them till i broke the mic section of the kit.

go to maplins i got a set of four there and the staff were really helpful too.

I need them cos im following Lorna down to WSM on Saturday, and having communication between the cars is invaluable, as well as being hilariously funny. She has a passenger, but i dont, hence the need for handsfree operation. will run into maplins tommorow

what channel shall we all set as briskoda channel? im suggesting channel 4

he he. Deal

EDIT: Ill put that on the main WSM thread too

i always keep one in the car just in case, better charge my other ones ;)

have you thought about a pair of hand held CB's they have a good range generally.

CB's requie a license, and are generally more expensive. Got a twin set of Cobra MT750. Tried them out in the store (Maplins) as they use them. Were all set :D

im sure the pmr radios could operate to the same distance as cb's with a bit of aerial altering ;)
