New to this forum so thought I'd just drop in and say "Hi". Test drove a few hot hatches last weekend as we're about to move and require a second car, and seeing as we've got the Volvo V50 estate for long distance travelling I thought I should add something more "interesting" for a little short distance fun. Took a silver '06 Fabia vRS out for a spin and was instantly WOW'd by it. I never thought I'd buy a second diesel car as I've always driven petrol cars and am not overly impressed with the Volvo's engine, so I'd almost discounted the car without giving it a fair shot, but I'm glad I came to my senses as it was a "sweet sweet ride". I'm still considering buying the silver one I drove as the price seems to be dropping by the week (from an authorised Skoda used dealer) but a little black number has caught my eye so think I'll be testing that one this coming weekend and make my final decision on which one to barter for. Hopefully by the weekend I'll be the proud owner of a new Fabia vRS of some description.

I've already asked some questions in the Fabia section of this forum and had many welcomes and informative responses, so I'm looking forward to spending some time here and learning a lot about my soon-to-be new car from the many friendly, knowledgable peeps who frequent this fine forum.
