Rotate me for N95

Featured Replies

Although that is of absolutely no benefit to me at all, it still makes me want one of these things. Roll on January...

Wow is all I'm going to say. How did the guy in the second vid manage to put the image onto a TV?

Im due for upgrade 13th Dec.

Try and get the new N95 8G version, bigger screen, longer battey life, built in 8 gig memory and a couple of other bits over and above the old version. Nice black finish too.

I think there may be a demo game usng the N Gage platform too?????

How on earth does that work?

And why dont nokia make it do it as standard? it's just like my PS3 Controller!!!!!!

Wow that French bloke's N95 works at double fast speed. was the video speeded up or summat? Every time I switch between applications, the phone goes blank and waits for 2 seconds before bringing owt up!

Nice apps though, I like the Nokmote idea. Cool.

Yeah I thought that too, mines de-branded, latest firmware etc etc, and it still doesn't respond like that!

When is the 8gb version released?

When is the 8gb version released?

vodafone have them and are quoting up to 6 days delivery.

The 8GB is exclusive to Vodaphone until Xmas. So most places have them on vodaphone contracts. Even Nokia aren't selling them direct from themselves SIM free until after Xmas. Which makes me think the SIM free ones elsewhere are either debadged Voda ones or a little dodgy?

I belive someone on this very site has just ordered a N95-8gb... im not jealous

I haven't even told you yet  but thanks for being jealous :D

I'll join the others in exclaiming about that N95's speed. Has he overclocked it or something? Mine is a right slug.

Nope, they are true sim free. The N95 8GB is available sim free across europe. Only the UK has the vodafone thing.

Will they have European Firmware on then? or Euro Spec? I'm waiting for the Nokia Store to carry them as I remember reading they're pricing it at 499 SIM Free. Which is a lot better than places I've seen so far.

We'll wait and see. If o2 get their bottoms in gear then I can upgrade in Jan. Otherwise I need to find some cash for the SIM free pot...

personally id wait until at least one fw release was out for the 8gb.. then id change the productid and unbrand it.. saw a vodaphone branded n95 yesterday and it was full of ****e.

Just donated and got this badboy app installed... bit of a case of jumping thru hoops to get it dev-signed for my device, but the app rocks!!..

NOKIA.. give this guy a job!! he knows how to make killer apps!

all ammo to take the p!ss outta my muppet collegue who has just bought an iphone

I have just got my N95, it is a peice of kit even compared to the i-phone (that doesnt even have video). It does cost me £35 a month with 900 mins and 600 txts tho - but i think it is worth it!
