Too Late Now

Featured Replies

Well, after 3 brilliant years my Red Fabia vRS has departed. Loved it dearly but felt the need to move on. When my daughter, (30), heard the news she was devastated which surprised me no end. That little car made more friends than any other I have ever owned. Now bought a year-old Volvo S60 D5 SE Geartronic job, in dark blue pearl with light sand leather, heated seats and all the usual toys. The 185bhp D5 engine is a gem and the 6-spd Geartronic 'box suits it very well.

I was tempted to go for either a Superb or Octavia but the former is getting a bit long in the tooth, now, and I find the Octy a bit on the bland side, visually, (not the vRS).............just a personal opinion. Cannot fault my experience with Skoda in any way shape or form and may yet return to the fold in a couple or three years - if the new Fabia vRS ever materialises, (that'll be the 3rd childhood, then).

For now, I am really enjoying the S60 and the standard-fit sound system is amazing : 225w/9 speakers/6-CD in-dash/Dolby Pro-Logic II.

I intend to stay with Briskoda as you're a really good set of folks and it really is a good Forum.

There; I've done it. I'm officially "out". Feels good. :)

Welcome to the club :D

Enjoy the new motor

Not an ovlov! Good cars though! I don't think I've disliked an ovlov released in the past 8 years or so. ;) OK, perhaps that C30 "thing", but the S series I quite like, so do my local coppers! :(
