JVC KD-BT1 - echo problems.

Featured Replies

Hi..

I have just bought a JVC KD-BT1 headunit and installed it yesterday.

I`m having trouble with echo when using the bluetooth handsfree.

Anyone else having this problem?

Have tried 4 different phones - 2 of them echo the whole time, the 2 others echo for 10-15 seconds and then work perfectly for the rest of the conversation.

Have had a search on google, and it seems to be phone related, but i have found a list from JVC, where 2 of the phones are listed as compatible.

Should i try to return the unit, or does anyone have a solution?

Regards, Michael.

Is there a delay setting in the setup menu?

Not that i know of.

I can adjust the sensativity of the mic from +1 to +3 - whatever that means.

That doesn`t help either.

Looked in the manual, and it suggested to move the mic - have also tried that, but no luck.

Guess i should have bought a Parrot CK3100 instead. :thumbdwn:

Bought the unit in Germany, so will write them an email concerning this problem - see if they are any help.
