Wales GB Rally

Anyone know of the following stages? Which is better to watch?

Brechfa or Trawscoed...?

Also, does anyone know of a promo code we can use? :)

Don't remember Trawscoed (that'll teach me to only label half of my photos) but definitely did Brechfa which was a great stage to watch, but make sure you get there early as they pen in spectators now.

Not sure what the ticketing arrangements are this year but a few years back most of the marshalls were more interested in the rally than ensuring everyone had tickets....

what about car parking at the stages? Dont you need ticket for that?

When you say pen in - are you not allowed to wander anymore?

I last went in 2003 so it might have changed. Basically, if you turn up a couple of hours prior to the stage you get shown where to park and then go and find an area behind some red tape (ironic, huh?) to stand. The areas of red tape are pretty focussed and the marshalls don't like you wandering too much so best to get there early if you want to be near the front.

However, a friend of mine opted not to buy tickets and played dodge-the-marshalls for the majority of the rally and also found that turning up to the stages earlier than the marshalls meant he could get into the car park area without paying  Bit risky though if you actually want to guarantee watching the rally.
