Its Brill! i no where il be getting mine! i was getting quote of £350 fitted by local dealers!

Shame they're still £90 for 215/40 R17. Quite odd how the same tyre can vary so much in price - Guess it's down to supply and demand at the end of the day....

would i be right in saying these are the best real world performance tyre?

how much are the r888's?

Best real-world valuye for money, yes. Toyo 888s are awesome but they cost twice as much and last half as long, but they'd be very good tyres while in use. :)

ha wouldn't be using the r888's for the road, for that reason,5000miles and my front bridgestones have nearly had it:eek:tho they did do a little track work and blistered badly, these tr1's look to be perfect replacements:cool:

Wouldnt use the 888's for a daily driver car. Very dangerous in the wet, and not very good when cold.

Grippy as hell in the dry & when warm  These and the yoko advans A048's have to be the best tyres for track use.

I Love the Toyo T1-r for road use, they wear well, they are quite, ride is good, grip is good, wet grip is good.

Only problem i find is they are really rubbish when the road is damp but not wet.

I personally think the T1-R's are carp after driving a car with them on. Infact, two cars. Two different makes and models.

The sidewalls are useless, feels very spongy. They are the best budget tyre, and thats all!

Using Yokohama Parada's myself, cannot fault them.

good tyre, Very good dry grip,

bit soft for my liking though.

£70 each on 16" rims :) And they are brilliant, in the dry/slightly damp.

Oh, and even though Toyo T1-R's arae a budget tyre, they rate in my book better than any other tyre I have used yet as an all rounder. I dont have an issue with soft sidewall, yet did on Good Year Eagle F1's/ The Toyo's arte a much better tyre in my opinion.

You must have had a duff set or two. I am on my third set and compared to tyres a lot more expensive they are fantastic in all respects.
