Looking for a Fabia vRS...

Featured Replies

Evening Ladies/Gents/Those who are unsure.

Was previously in the Octavia forum looking for a vRS but what with petrol prices and other costs I'm looking at Fabia vRSs as a alternative bit of fun! Currently I'm enjoying my Mk3 Golf TDi (Chipped), get about 50 p/g, but its getting old.

Budget is about £5000. Could be streched if something came along which was too good to pass up (about +500).

Questions to you:

What sort of age and mileage are in my price range? Been having a look in the for sale section along with Pistonheads and Ebay (useless), given me a broad range.

With age comes problems. Any buggers I should know about?

Cheers people!

For £5000 you looking at 100,000miles + VRS's or alternatively a write off, think more £6,500 for the cheapest decent VRS

Ouch?! I've seen a few Octavia vRS going for about £5500 with 70/80,000? Are Fabias more expensive for some reason...?

Well the oldest fabia's are newer than the oldest octavias.

Earliest fabia vrs was 03 plate and they do retain there value better than the octavia

To give you an idea i got my 04 plate with 39K miles for £7,300 and that was a good deal

PM Nero vr or check out the for sale section.

Think early vRS's are going for around high 5K now.

I know just the car.... :rubchin: and its also the cheapest fabia vRS in the country!

You will struggle to get a furby vRS for 5k... i know mine is the cheapest in the country, cheapest one on autotrader is 5.5 with 96k miles.

i brought my 04 vrs 2 years ago with 45k on the clock for 8k its now on 55k when i was looking the cheapest i could find was an 04 plate for 7k but had 90k on clock, and mine use to belong to some one on here.
