hi i am a new to this my name is Kevin but i prefur Kev

i live in the UK and i have owned my skoda octavia for

just over 4 yrs now and i am having a small problem

with it ,

The problem is once i have started the engine it runs at 2000 rpm for around 10 secound then drops to 1000 rpm

when i drive and dip the clutch the engine revs dont go

right away and the revs go up and down without touching the peddle if any one can help i will be a happy person

Annoying rattle from possibly climate control area

Kamiq KAMIQ SE TSI S-A 2024 I have recently noticed an annoying rattle coming from what I think is the climate control area (but could be anywhere in the front of the car). This rattle comes in when doing at least 40 mph? It is a sort of clicking sound. It doesn't appear to be coming from one of the dashboard panels. Has anyone else had this issue ? Any help appreciated

Hey up, If anyone is jacking up their car soon are you able to take pictures of exactly where you put the trolley jack (pictures of the jack and any pucks used would be amazing) And where you put the axle stands. I know i’m asking for a lot but if you can show front and rear locations that would be amazing! Quality pictures as well 😀 Cheers 👍

Hey guys, I need to keep a 2kg fire extinguisher in my car due to legal requirements in Greece and I’m trying to figure out the best mounting spot. My main concern is securing it properly so it doesn’t rattle or move around while driving. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s dealt with this — where did you mount yours, and did you use a dedicated bracket or holder? Any tips on keeping it secure without damaging the interior would be great. Thanks in advance!

Very confused and apologies if covered elsewhere but can't find it... looking to get a towbar fitted for caravan towing and an independent towbar company is warning about coding and about the rear emergency braking kicking in and not letting me reverse with the caravan in place. Another has said they can fit a towbar but I'd need to take it to a dealer to get it coded. I've contacted my local skoda dealer and they've quoted £1900 for a towbar to be fitted!! I think that when in reverse I can d
