Saw the crash on Eurosport!

What a mistake to make.

Glad to hear he is ok, after the commentator was saying he had memory loss.

I live about 50 miles from the stage - the roads are particularly greasy here at the moment.

Just as well we build stone walls to last - he would have gone for a swim otherwise.

poor kris meeke...

Meeke was a superb third in Thursday's opening super-special stage at Stormont but after doing well to remain in the top six after four stages, he then hit trouble to drop way out of contention.

A devastated Meeke said after stage five that he was unable to go above 50mph and his rally was over.

Tim McNulty is top Irishman in ninth place after day one - seven minutes and 56 seconds off the pace.

Completing the top 10, just four seconds behind McNulty, is another home driver, Gareth McHale.

Kris was doing well alright, tbh I don't rate that S12 so that made it even better. Before I get slated for saying about S12, its a long time since a Scooby was competitive on the World stage, remember the Discovery programme and the Subaru, the car was a bucket of **** :)
