Yes I know that this is larger than recommended (slightly), but would there be any problem with them for a while?

I ask as most 16" wheels that are available have come off of Octavias and the like so have the larger tyres. It would be nice to use the larger tyres until they wear out before replacing them. Spreads the cost if nothing else, but no use if they foul the arches etc.

I doubt it will, at least it might go on, but once on, I don't think the car would move anywhere as it would be sitting on the tyre.

I guess I could fit the spare from my Octavia and have a look.

Thing is I'd like to know if they fit on full lock on the bumpstops.
