Crikey...you've got me looking again even more so now !

Followed up the drive by a Race Blue hatch this morning...which turned down Queens Road...and saw a nice Silver hatch heading south too...

I wonder how many Vrs's there are in Aberdeen & the shire??? I guess only a few folk will be members on here...definitely feel it's now a much more common car, than when I bought mine (but I guess you could argue that you start to see more once you've bought one !)

If I changed & went for another Vrs, I think I'd go silver, maybe black??? & diesel !

You do see more and more of them all the time. Get down as far as Edinburgh and they are there by the shed load!

Thought I might as well post in here.

Im in Aberdeen and I bought myself a 55 plate Laurent & Klement estate a few weeks back.

Just ordered a facelifted vRS Hatch in Race Blue - will be with me September! Seems ages off but hoping it will fly (time - and the car that is). Its new home will be just north of Aberdeen. If anyone is interested I believe the dealer in Dundee now has a facelifted vRS in his showroom in white.

Im just north of Aberdeen too so will keep an eye out.

Looks like there will be loads of Octy's in our happy land then!

Mine will be out and about a lot over the next few weeks as the school holidays are almost here and there is serious caravanning to be done! Happy days!

Your Holidays are here!! Happy motoring and enjoy your time off.

Dealer in Aberdeen now has a facelifted vRS estate in in silver I believe. Still havent seen a blue facelifted hatch in the flesh, so if anyone spots one up here please post a note.

Cheers loon!

We set off next Friday on our grand tour! So if you spot a red vRS hatch happily pulling a small but perfectly formed caravan heading for Culloden it's us! After that we will be found at Invernahavon, Markinch, Dunbar, Northumberland (eeek that's England), Edinburgh, Scone, Banchory and back to the Broch. I will vRS spot along the way!

I dare not go and look at the facelifted vRS! Anyway WE have decided WE want a Yeti next ... well to be accurate Heather-Jane has decided we want a Yeti next!!

Meantime it's a week of house chores before we set off. Nae luck!

Yes he has a facelifted White Petrol Octavia VRS in the showroom, had a look at it the other day when I was in getting a rough value for trading in my Fabia VRS. :)

Picked up my Facelift Octavia vRS TDI (Race Blue Hatch) last Thursday in Manchester - Drove to Cornwall Friday and back to Aberdeen Sunday. Fantastic car - Love it and very impressed. Did an average 51.6 mpg at average speed of 60 on way back over 650 miles (1200 on the clock already!). Seemed to see more Octy vRS's down south around Bristol/South West than in the North.

Car needs a clean already - any tips on products to use. Saw a very nice Mk 2 vRS in traffic jam in Birmingham M6 (thumbs up to you guys as your car looked nice).

Aye,aye,

I live in Aberdeen and as you say not seen many Octy VRS's around at all.

I have just traded my 2001 4X4 Turbo Estate in down in Newcastle for a nice 55 plate, low miles one lady owner (no scuffed alloys would you believe!!), ex demo, black TFSi VRS Hatch.

Absolutely awesome car but to be honest I really miss the 4WD. The 4x4 Turbo handles like it is on rails. Boot the VRS out of a damp roundabout and she gets a bit light at the front.:Yikes:

It will take a bit of getting used to.

I too have seen the yellow one you have metioned being driven by a posh old bird. Looks like the car is well looked after though and to be honest I wouldn't turn my nose up at a yellow one. Very rare in years to come I would imagine along with white ones.

Anyone interested in a wee Octy VRS stand at a couple of local shows next summer for laughs?

Not keen on appearing with mine in public! lol

However if you do happen to be goin to some shows make sure you post and i'll come for a nosey!
