Featured Replies

Hi all,

Next Event

Pub Quiz every Thursday at Warren Lodge, Scunthorpe

Sun 3 August

Yorkshire Sculpture Park

Sun 7 September

Heights of Abraham, Matlock

Sun 5 October

Castle Howard, nr York

Sun 2 November

Mystery seaside trip

Sun 7 December

local mystery tour

As ever all are welcome, modern or ancient.

As a core of members live in Scunthorpe,

the convoy usually starts from there,

however, meet-ups en-route,

or at the destinations are more than welcome.

Additionally the club will be looking to participate in some classic car shows,

and maybe attend some motorsport events

Further details will be provided nearer the time.

hope to see you .. Darren

Updated list of events

:)

Thanks for that

Being a Skoda owner and enthusiast, living south of Lincoln I really should make the effort and join up with SKODAS. I do attend several owners club events.

How do I join? Just turn up?:orb_rocki

You're most welcome, yes simply turn up.

Certainly will try and get to a few of those, please post an individual thread with details of each event a week or so before it is happening to jog my memory :D

Good idea.

Can you do that for me as well?

  • Author

yup sure can!

In fact in my excitement to tell you all about next year! I missed the event on 2 Dec 2007 off the list.

So that's 2nd December a "local mystery tour" setting off from The Old Farmhouse pub (end of M181 by SUFC) at 10am.

I'm sure Youngsyd or Daveyvrs will think of a suitable route (as i'm in a snowy DDR at the moment)

cheers ... Darren

All are welcome Nick, be nice to meet you.

Cheers!

Well they're all listed in the 1st post & I'm bound to say they're all brilliant days out.

Although personally I really like Brimham Rocks (June 1)

& the Yorkshire Sculpture Park (August 3) although I'll be in Germany then

(ssshhh don't tell the others though)

The July 5/6 camping weekend is likely to be in gorgeous Northumberland

(exact site details to be confirmed), so lots of nice options.

Free Bump!

They organise some great days out, are a great bunch.

Despite lots of "man flu" & several regulars at work ...

We still managed a turn out of 10 people for the visit to Hardwick Hall. The weather was much better than the forecast so we managed to dodge the showers.

There was a mystery Briskoda stickered Yellow Fabia VRS in the car park. However we sadly missed the owner of that.

Five of us had a drive over to Sutton Scarsdale hall ruins afterwards.

Which despite the other 4 being local-ish Derby / Notts, none of them had been before.

Pix to follow .....

Yes we were virtually the only people at Sutton Scardale,

would make a noice POI on a Brisky route.

Car park fits about 30 cars at a guess.
