New clutch is on it's way!

Featured Replies

Just had confirmation my clutch was sent out today from Florida.

SPEC Stage 3+ clutch with alloy flywheel (still steel, just alloy faced)

Clutch is rated to 590 lb/ft according to the SPEC site. :D Looks like I'm paying just a shade over £600 all in for it as well, thanks to the current £:$ rate.

Once I have it in my hands, I think I will get it fitted asap along with the peloquin equipped gearbox. Oh, and fit a few other things, give it a service, renew bushes, lose the AC stuff, general lightening. Think I might take 3 days off work to help out and take photos. :D

Nice one

Let us know how it feels when you get it done

Are you getting Lloyd to fit the new toys?

Is that a solid flywheel, I take it?

Singlemass - yes. About time I got the stock DMF out my car, although to be fair, the way my DMF was machined to match my organic clutch means it's been 100% reliable. It's just the clutch itself which now can't cope with 2nd gear launches.

Lloyd won't be doing the clutch. I'll be using my mate for that as lots more needs doing too. Lloyd, et.al will be doing the head swap, new injector fitting, and the remapping again. Hoping that doesn't take much more than 2 days - Hoping for gearbox, clutch to be in by Xmas, and for head, etc to be done by mid Jan. Then RR day on 4th Feb.

Err, shouldn't that be the other way round.

Copy cat. :P

PS: What's it like? Just had an email saying the 590 lb/ft is AT THE WHEELS!
