Just bought a 1.9 td 2001 s reg Octavia just wondering if anyone knows some simple engine or chip mods to get it going a bit quicker, thanks folks....Olly

Presuming you mean it's a TDi, a full remap for about £500 will yield and extra 30 to 40 bhp, depending on the base engine tune. See the "Site Sponsors" section for recommendations as to who.
