Have just had my car remapped (custom code) 312mm breaks fitted and a jabba rarb - all seems good so far but still in the bedding in stage - perhaps I will post a review soon in the next week or two. Last thing I want to do to my car is lowering with new springs and matched dampers I don't want to drop it any more than 25-40mm so probably coilovers are not worth the extra expense.

I know of two kits that have been reviewed on here the eilbach kit and the koni FSd's with eilbach springs.

However another kit availiable is the KW sports suspension kit - anyone any experience of this???

Yeah me! I've had the KW kit fitted for just over a month now, very impressed with it. It's not turned the Vrs into a go kart by any stretch of the imagination, but it's made the handling of the car a lot more predictable and reduces the arch gap which is huge when 17" wheels are fitted.

Yeah me! I've had the KW kit fitted for just over a month now, very impressed with it. It's not turned the Vrs into a go kart by any stretch of the imagination, but it's made the handling of the car a lot more predictable and reduces the arch gap which is huge when 17" wheels are fitted.

Umm interesting thanks for the info. I wonder how they compare to fsd's/eilbach and eilbach kit? Certainly a more sensible price. I worry about the fsd's with lowered springs as they are designed for use with standard springs Im sure they do work well with lowered springs but for how long?

So overall do you think the KW kit improves the cars performance and handling even on the bumpy b roads? (sorry for all the questions)

That's a good question, and not one I'd really thought about. After considering it during the drive home I think the dive is now just about eliminated.

That's a very subjective question though, what you think is dive and what I think is dive could be worlds apart.

Thank you, yes they are audi tt alloys. Reconditioned, bought from ebay with the correct size fabia friendly tyres for £350.

Without a doubt yes, there are some rough roads in this country, but to be honest the fabias standard suspension isn't good on them. The ride is firmer of course, but personally I think for the better. However I also went from standard 16's to the 17's and lower profile tyres at the same time, so I don't know how much effect that had on the handling.

Did the front settle down, probably a tiny bit, but not that much. If you want really low it's coilovers I'm afraid. I went for the KW's mainly due to the price and their good reputation. I may only keep the car for another year, didn't think it was worth the 600-700 outlay for coilovers.

there is a kw cup kit for the polo,fits the fabia,that is the ultimate fabia suspension,but by god is it expensive,about 1300 quid for the basic set,and if you want the top castor/camber adjustment add 300
